space: Cabinetry fabrication & installation, Etobicoke, Ontario

design objectives: The installation in this suburban living room addition included a credenza to define the space of the living room, a classic standing bar cabinet and fireplace flanked on either side by walnut cabinetry that houses A/V equipment. The depth of the cabinets allows the doors to be pocketed while the carved walnut handle add a sensuous touch to the project The hearth of the fireplace is trimmed out with cold rolled steel that surrounds a cement board base that has been finished with urethane.

materials: Walnut cabinetry, hot rolled steel details, limestone, slate, urethaned tile backerboard.
