design objectives: The principle goal for this country residence was to create a cozy hideaway. The basement plan includes a home entertainment centre, pool table, bar, home office, bike room, washroom, mechanical room and introduces a ground level walk out to bring the country landscape to the lower level of the home. Sliding wood and glass doors separate the office from the home theatre area, but can be fully opened to make the spaces flow together.
